Sailor Step – Sailors can sometimes appear to walk “funny” on land after spending a long time at sea, often described as a “sailor’s walk” with a slight swaying or lurching motion, as their bodies are still adjusting to the stable ground after being accustomed to the movement of a ship; this phenomenon is called “SEA LEGS” and can make them feel like they are still swaying even when on solid ground. That’s where this line dance step gets its name.
